The first day... or I should say night at work was better than I had expected. I didn't feel sleepy, although I did have to stand for about 5 hours. It's interesting, that since my mom works there for the morning shift, and my sister works the afternoon shift, and now I'm there for midnight, at any given time in 24 hours someone from my family is working at MAC.
(well, atleast until school starts again)
Getting home at about 8am, I started clearing the driveway. It's days like these that I'm glad we have a snowblower. Honestly though, I really like this kind of weather. As long as snow isn't falling and it's not windy at the same time, then I don't mind it. Oh, and unless I'm driving.
For those who complain about the weather every year: This is Canada. You've been here for x amount of years, so get over it already.
So we have this really wierd asian lady who lives two houses down on our street. When I got home, her driveway was probably the cleanest one on our street. She even cleared 3 feet out on the road infront of her house. It was so clean that I could see the colours of the individual bricks on her interlocked driveway. While I was shovelling, she drove out for whatever reason... and when she got back, she grabbed the shovel and started cleaning again and it didn't even snow again since last night! In the Spring/Summer time, she's out again, only this time with a broom... and again, she sweeps the road infront of her house!
Update: Not even half an hour after coming inside, the snow plow came by and created a nice, thick wall of snow at the end of our driveway. It was so nice outside though, that I just went out in my shalwar kameez without socks. Luckily, the snowblower made little work of that wall, and I helped out my neighbour as well. (Not the asian lady). Since she has so much time on her hands, she can do it herself.
Just kidding... She already had a few extra hands.

Great blog Bhai. I'm kind of ambiguous about the Winter. IT's so cold it's a chore to do anything, and the ice that coats the sidewalks that never seems to melt. Oh well. Haha bout not helping the OCD snow shoveler.
Yes Umar bhai, wonderful blog :)
I agree - this is Canada, and we should be ready for the winters man.
I was born here, so I'm a totally thick-blooded Canadian, eh. Except, my face seems to disagree since it gets blood red in the cold. Oh well.
(Ahh, the benefits of living in an apartment building.)
