Starting January, I'll be volunteering for 3 hours every Thursday at the downtown office of the Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario.

According to their email,
Tasks include assisting with mailings, preparing packages and organizing files. In addition to the work experience, volunteers receive free attendance at selected events, a book, t-shirt and bag and a certificate of appreciation. In addition, volunteers are invited to be volunteers at DesignThinkers.

Hopefully, this should assist in giving me some much needed exposure to the "real world" aspect of this field.

In the summer, we're required to participate in a 3-week internship program, so that will further add to the real world experience.
