The Drafting Table

The RGD moved to a new office this past Monday.
I thought it would be pretty easy getting there. I'd take the subway to St. Andrew station, go west on King St., when I hit Spadina, I'd take a right. It seemed easy enough.. the Mapquest map made it look like a short distance to walk.

So yesterday I got off on St. Andrew and walked west on King St.
5 minutes passed, then 10, 15, 20. Where's Spadina? Turns out it's half an hour in the other direction. I had been going east and thought it was west. So I had to walk 20 minutes back to the subway station, and then another 15 minutes from there to Spadina.

Then, when I was leaving RGD (with a friend from school), I found out I could have just taken the subway to Spadina, got onto the streetcar from there and gotten off at Adelaide... from which point the office is only a minute walk.
