Al Safa Packaging
After a long absence of my design work, I finally have something worth putting up.
This is for my Package Design class... we had to take an existing product and come up with two packaging solutions: evolutionary (modifying the existing design only slightly) and revolutionary (a complete rework of the design).
I chose Al Safa. You can see how the original package looks like by going here.
(I was going to render these designs into a 3D shape, in perspective with shadows etc but I'm dead tired..so use your imagination)

Interesting - where's the "approved by ISNA" seal? :P
actually, ISNA and Al Safa broke ties back in 1999. IFANCA now certifies Al Safa. (Thus the "M" symbol you see in the corner)
Read about it here.
Your recent projects have been making me very hungry...mmm...
during my wokr experience in malaysia, i read that al-safa is owned by a jewish company - is that true?
not that it has any bearing on the halaal-ness i guess... jst interesting in terms of economy - i unsderstand it's the biggest provider of halaal meat in US&canda?
