my experience with dentists is that they know what they're doing. when they told my sister to keep wearing retainers otherwise her teeth would go crooked she didnt listen. and her teeth are as crooked as they were before she wore braces. so there went 2 1/2 years of humiliation for some vanity.
i got 4 pulled out in one day, or was it two? i can't remember. yeah i did it without any sort of anesthesia (sp?). the nurses kept gloating over how courageous i was and how, there'd never been another 17 year old who had gotten her teeth pulled out without being heavily drugged
whatever. it didnt really hurt. i had a nice dentist, though. treated chelsea clinton or something, once.
