Food for thought

Last night was pretty tiring. After getting home from Headstart at around 6pm, I had to head out to a client's place to pick up some stuff for a photo shoot.

It took me about 5 hours to get two dishes ready and photographed.
(The shots aren't that professional, but hey... I'm not a food stylist)
...then, after that, I had to get up early for work.*

(One of the 30+ pics I took)

*Although the rest of the day went well, it started off pretty crappy. I woke up at 8 (supposed to be there at 9)... found out that the new pair of pants I had were about 5 sizes too small..... and another pair in my closet was 5 sizes too big. (Ended up wearing dress pants from my suit which was more comfortable since it was only 1 size small)... then, got there 5 minutes late... and sort of messed up on this one large order b/c I didn't take the guy's name/info and didn't send it to the printer I was supposed to. All in all though, it was a good day.

salaams.
you're obviously exaggerating, but is your waist size so much of a random variable? quite worrisome, that must be...

great presentation!

agree with ^ poster. I like the picture though. and Im hungry now. grr.

anywhoo, as to angels and demons, read it.

it took me 10 hours to finish reading Da vinci code [last time I showed that much enthusiasm for a novel was when I was 14?] , but it took me longer to get into angels and demons.

the ending was so lame, like dan brown couldnt figure out what to do with the character, so he made him kill himself. problem solved.

em - no, it's not that much of a random variable... my waist size is average... but those pants were definetly meant for other people.

nuralhuda - yeah, i found the ending to be a bit wierd too. and i couldn't figure out the whole pyramid/vittoria/disappearing thing at the end either.
he briefly referred to it again in da vinci code, so it must mean something.
and yeah, i finished it over one weekend.... the fastest i've ever read a novel that long. now i can somewhat begin to understand my sister's obsession with harry potter novels.

nuralhuda, you're absolutely right. dan brown destroyed another potentially great book (digital fortress) in the last 10 pages. the story develops well, then bang! you figure out the solution to the main puzzle before the main character does. SUCH an anti-climax. who trained him? john grisham? i washed my hands off dan brown since digital fortress.

umar, "average" is great. i was just surprised that your wardrobe stocked pants "5 sizes too big" ;)
