Strike!
Ontario college teachers are now on strike.
Being in a joint university/college program, I'll still be going to my classes at York, but my Wednesdays just opened up.
“Ontario college students are frustrated and furious... that their post-secondary education is being disrupted by a provincewide faculty strike,” Matt Jackson, president of the College Student Alliance, said in a news release. (Toronto Star)
Judging by the nicknames on my MSN list though, everyone's pretty happy.
I know I am... I was supposed to have a group presentation next week, but that obviously won't be happening.

Gaaah! Why can't universities go on strike. Ever. Blast.
By the way, I just saw this: "Reproduction of any of my work shown on this blog or through linked sites, in any form, without permission is strictly prohibited."
It's funny. I'm laughing.
My sister isn't happy. She's in a Ryerson-George brown program so she only has her Ryerson classes now. That's only 2 days.
I wish York could have a 1 week strike.

they're all planning to refuse to assess stuff... demanding higher wages etc.
